1 medium spaghetti squash
2 cups pasta sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use the tip of a knife to poke holes all over squash. Microwave for 5 minutes.
- Using a pot holder or clean kitchen towel, remove squash from the microwave. Allow to cool slightly.
- Cut squash in half. Scoop out the seeds.
- Place squash halves, cut-side down on a microwave-safe plate or baking dish.
- Microwave squash for 10 minutes.
- While the squash cooks, heat your favorite pasta sauce in a sauce pan over medium-low heat.
- Using a pot holder or clean kitchen towel, remove squash from the microwave. Allow to cool slightly.
- Use a fork to scrape the squash out of the
skin. - Serve 1 cup spaghetti squash with ½ cup pasta sauce.
