    Ingredients

    • 1 medium spaghetti squash

    • 2 cups pasta sauce

    INSTRUCTIONS

    • Use the tip of a knife to poke holes all over squash. Microwave for 5 minutes.
    • Using a pot holder or clean kitchen towel, remove squash from the microwave. Allow to cool slightly.
    • Cut squash in half. Scoop out the seeds.
    • Place squash halves, cut-side down on a microwave-safe plate or baking dish.
    • Microwave squash for 10 minutes.
    • While the squash cooks, heat your favorite pasta sauce in a sauce pan over medium-low heat.
    • Using a pot holder or clean kitchen towel, remove squash from the microwave. Allow to cool slightly.
    • Use a fork to scrape the squash out of the
      skin.
    • Serve 1 cup spaghetti squash with ½ cup pasta sauce.
