FAQs
How is it possible that $1 can help provide 3 meals?
Unlike walking into a grocery store and paying retail prices for food, the Food Bank works directly with major manufacturers, retailers and other partners locally and across the country to secure safe, healthy food that would otherwise go to waste.
Will I get a receipt for my donation?
Yes, once your donation has been processed, you will receive a confirmation letter and/or emailed receipt that you can keep for your personal records.
Can I make a donation in someone’s honor/in memory of a loved one?
Yes. More and more people are choosing alternative gift options for birthdays, holidays, memorials and many other occasions. Visit our
Tribute Giving page to learn more.
