September is Hunger Action Month and voting is one of the most important actions you can take to address food insecurity in our communities! Decisions that impact critical government nutrition programs and root cause issues are made at all levels and every election is important. Voting is a powerful way to let elected officials know you care about reducing hunger and so should they. Check out the resources below to make sure you are ready to vote this November!
The Connection Between Voting and Hunger
Being a voter who cares about hunger and nutrition issues is crucial because it helps make sure these issues get the attention they need. By supporting policies and leaders who focus on solving food problems and improving nutrition, you can help make a real difference. Your vote can lead to better programs and resources for those in need, making your community stronger and healthier for everyone.
