It takes more than food to fight hunger. Issues such as employment, health, housing/utilities and transportation are just as important. Sort by Resource Type and/or County below to find the life stabilization resources that can best help you.

Formula Resources

Where to get formula if not eligible or available through WIC:

  • Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pittsburgh

  • Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh
    • 332 Fifth Avenue, 4th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
    • Call 412-227-4802
  • Mead Johnson “Helping Hands Program”- provides up to a year’s supply of formula based on income
    • Call 1-800-222-9123
  • Abbott “Strong Moms Program”-provides up to a maximum of 12 cases/year for certain exempt infant formula and WIC-eligible nutritionals at no charge for individuals who do not have the financial resources or insurance to help them obtain medically necessary formula
    • Call 847-808-5300
  • Nutricia-Neocate Assistance Program-designed to assist economically or financially disadvantaged infants obtain Neocate formula. Does not replace other available financial resources; thus, should be considered the payer of last resort
