This September, Pittsburgh is shining a light on hunger. Through Project Orange, iconic landmarks across our city and region are illuminated in orange, the national color of hunger relief, as a powerful reminder that food insecurity impacts thousands of our neighbors every day. When the skyline turns orange, it’s more than just a symbol. It’s a call to action. Every light represents the voices, hours, dollars, stories and everyday efforts that move us closer to a hunger-free community. Together, we can turn awareness into action. That’s the Power of You.

On 9/3/26, 20% of sales at Pizza Huts in the Greater Pittsburgh area will benefit the local food bank (either us or WCFB). Must mention food bank at the register.
Through Course Forward, Cinderlands will donate $1 from every case of Easy Course (Amber, Gold and IPA offerings) sold in 2026 to two community partners: Mountain Watershed Association and Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

For the third consecutive year, the Betres Group Hallmark Ladies Day campaign will be supporting our food bank! During this day of sales (September 24th), folks will get coupons and free gifts just for entering Betres Group Hallmark stores AND when customers bring in non-perishable item(s) they’ll receive a coupon for 20% off of one item!
For their 2nd Greatest Guitar Sale Ever, Empire Music will be donating a portion of proceeds to the Food Bank on 9/19 10am-5pm. They will also be selling raffle tickets (all proceeds to the Food Bank) to raffle off a variety of items throughout the day every 2 hours.
