We are now able to accept Pennsylvania-based court-ordered community service hours for non-violent misdemeanors, traffic violations, and some probation violations.

Reporting Requirements: The volunteer team is able to provide a proof of completion letter or email to verify volunteer hours upon request. The volunteer team can also sign documentation provided by a probation officer to verify your volunteer hours. The Food Bank will not sign off on future hours and/or hours not fully completed. Any increased reporting requirements will be accepted/denied at the discretion of the Community Engagement Manager. If a court-ordered volunteer no-call/no-shows for three or more of their volunteer shifts, we are not able to accommodate their hours moving forward.

Excluded Offenses: Violent offenses, sexual offenses, or offenses against children.

  • Assault/Battery
  • Child/Elder abuse or neglect
  • Domestic violence
  • Homicide
  • Kidnapping
  • Rape
  • Sexual assault

Request court-ordered community service hours:

What is the offense pertaining to these community service hours?(Required)
Please notice, all of our volunteer shifts are on a first come, first serve basis. We are not able to reserve an abundance of shifts. If you ‘no-show’ for three shifts, you are no longer eligible to complete court-ordered community service at the Food Bank.
