מזווה מזון (שותפים המחלקים מצרכים) נדרשים לצפות בסדרת סרטונים שפותחו על ידי בנק המזון ולהשתתף בחידון ידע קצר. השלם הדרכות אלה באופן מקוון באמצעות הקישורים הבאים. האישורים תקפים לשלוש שנים.

Onsite feeding programs (partners that prepare food) are required to complete Allegheny County Health Department’s food safety certification program, or the equivalent ServSafe training from an approved ServSafe provider. Partners may apply for funding to cover the cost of the certification using the Impact Grants application. Funding is not guaranteed and will be awarded based on need. ServSafe certifications are valid for five years.
