Resources Beyond Food

It takes more than food to fight hunger. Issues such as employment, health, housing/utilities and transportation are just as important. Sort by Resource Type and/or County below to find the life stabilization resources that can best help you.

Adagio Health

The Power Up Program

Call 1-800-215-7494 or visit https://www.adagiohealth.org/power-up.

Power Up is a SNAP-Education program funded by the USDA. Adagio Health’s Power Up nutrition education program encourages students (Preschool through 12th grade), adults, seniors, and communities to choose healthier foods and live active lifestyles. Through direct, evidence-based nutrition lessons, participants learn strategies to adopt healthy habits that will have an impact on their current and future health.

WIC

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is a supplemental nutrition program for families that can provide nutrition information, breastfeeding support, and referrals to helpful health and social services. WIC is for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women and children up to the age of 5.

For more information, visit their website.
