Highmark Walk for a Heathy Community
On June 14th, Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and many of their agency partners will walk at the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community. The 5k walk will begin at 9am, and the 1 mile walk will begin at 9:15am at Stage AE in North Shore. We’ll have a tent set up where our team and our agency’s team members will meet up to walk together. Last year we walked with 16 of our agency partners to raise $40,000+ to fight against hunger.
Raise $30+ for us or our partners to receive a shirt from Highmark!
If you are interested in walking for a particular pantry that is participating, you can look them up in the search bar of our team page under “Search Teams”. If you aren’t able to attend you can support us by donating to our team or our partner agencies.
The event is stroller and wheelchair friendly, as well as dog friendly for non-aggressive dogs (leash required).
